Northwest AAA Hockey
The Acceleration Northwest AAA Hockey program operates out of Plymouth, MN. It was founded in 2005 as a local off-season training program for kids that were interested in skating close to home and concentrating on skill development and dry land training. Ten years later, our program continues to focus itself on top level instruction, local ice sessions and individual skill development.
All of our teams skate and train at Plymouth Ice Center, one of the most well respected complexes in the state. With three ice sheets, Plymouth Ice Center gives our AAA program great flexibility to schedule practices and training sessions at peak times in the spring and summer. We strongly support and encourage multiple sport athletes. We set up our teams to allow our kids to feel comfortable playing other spring and summer sports.
Our on-ice instruction is led by Program Director Pat O’Leary. Pat grew up in Plymouth and played college hockey at the University of Minnesota as well as 4 years minor pro in the United States. Pat has 17 years of on and off ice skill development experience. His staff work alongside of him bringing multiple years of experience as well as a high level of passion for the sport.
