ANW Summer Hockey Development Camps

The Acceleration Northwest Summer Hockey Development Camp operates at Plymouth Ice Center. ANW was founded in 2005 as a local off-season training program for kids that were interested in skating close to home and concentrating on skill development and dry land training. 13 years later, our program continues to focus itself on top level instruction, local ice sessions and individual skill development.

All of our groups will skate and train at Plymouth Ice Center, one of the most well respected programs in the state. With three ice sheets, Plymouth Ice Center gives our program great flexibility to schedule practices and training sessions at peak times in the offseason. We strongly support and encourage multiple sport athletes. We set up our teams to allow our kids to feel comfortable playing other spring and summer sports.

Our on-ice staff is led by coaches Pat O’Leary and Dave Brown. We have built our deepest hockey staff ever for this upcoming offseason and are incredibly excited about our upcoming programs. Coach O’Leary has run hockey camps for 20 years. He played hockey at the University of Minnesota and was a member of the 2002 National Championship Team. O’Leary is also the Head Boys Hockey Coach at Wayzata High School, and led them to 2016 AA State Championship.

These camps are 10-week programs and are coached by Acceleration Hockey Staff
