These are developmental teams that will also be able to compete at a high level.
When is the ANW AAA Season?
The AAA program will run from April, May and August.
How are the teams formed?
The goal is for each age group to have multiple teams for a variety range of players. The tournaments will be a mix of invite teams and open teams. Practice players will also possibly be added.
Where are we located?
Our Acceleration Northwest Training Facility is connected to the Plymouth Ice Center. Practices will be at Plymouth Ice Center, Maple Grove, New Hope, and Champlin. The coach of your team will dictate which rinks make the most sense based on your team’s roster and location of families. Teams will have access to the Training Facility during the AAA season and those sessions will be setup by the coaches.
How often do we play?
Every team will play in three tournaments. Some age groups will have two teams that will play in six tournaments. Practices will be based on birth year, but 20-30 hours of practice on average. The practices will lead up to the tournaments.
